Team
Jeremy Doogan BDS (QUB) 1998 BSc MJDF PGCertClinEd
Jeremy has been providing private dental care in the
Finaghy area of Belfast since 1999 with great success
earning strong loyalty among his patients. Jeremy,
working with his equally loyal and friendly staff,
would welcome the opportunity to calm any
concerns you may have and utilize their collective
talents to take care of your dental needs.
Jeremy is a well respected local dentist involved in
helping train the final year dental students one
afternoon a week in Queen's University School of
Dentistry. He has been involved in helping organize
local postgraduate dental education in the role of
scientific secretary of the Northern Ireland branch of
the British Dental Association from 2007-16. He has
also been appointed as a foundation dental trainer
for several years, including this year.
Jeremy is married to Linda, and they have two
children - Ellen and Eddie. He is very involved in his
church helping with the youth group and teaching
Sunday School.
Jessica Grudgings BDS (QUB) 2012 MFDS
RCPSG 2015
After graduating Jessica completed her Vocational
Training year with us in Finaghy. She spent two
years in the hospital dental service working in the
restorative, special care and maxillofacial fields
before returning to us in August 2015.
Jessica works Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Jeremy
Doogan Dental Care and the remainder of the week
in Maghera. Jessica provides all aspects of general
dental treatment and is dedicated to her profession
and the people she can help on a daily basis. She
always gives 100% commitment to achieving the
highest of standards.
Jessica is a member of the British Dental Association
with continious learning and ongoing professional
development a long term commitment to herself
and her patients.
Jessica recently got engaged and is currently
planning her wedding for June 2018.
Andrew Mawhinney BDS (QUB) 2016
Andrew is completeing his Foundation Dental
Training year with us.
He has a particular interest in helping nervous
patients back to the dentist.
When not helping people smile he is happiest on the tennis court.
Marie, Louise, Christine, Anne-Marie (not
forgetting Donna-Rose and Sharon)
Jeremy is proud of the whole team and how long
everyone has been together. Our principal
receptionist Marie has been welcoming patients
since 2008. Only Sharon has been on the team
longer as occasional receptionist and regular book-
keeper. Most of the fully GDC registered dental
nurses are part time so some only occasionally see
each other but we’re still all one great team.
Joanne Harkin - Hygienist
Joanne has also been on the team since 2008. Over
the years she has worked enthusiastically with her
patients to improve their periodontal (gum) health
and help them with their oral hygiene routines at
home.
